The Minatuar

The minataur is one of the most well known craetures from greek mythology. Usually depicted as a huminoid figure with a bulls head, it was said to live in the center of the labrinth, a living maze built by the inventor Daedalus.

Gorgons

The gorgons were three monsters, often depicted as scally women with claws, wings, and snakes for hair. The most famouse gorgon was Medusa, who could turn people to stone with one look, although some stories say all three gorgons had this power.

Cerberus
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cerberus was a massive, three headed dog who gaurded the gates to the under world. He is usually considered Hades pet/companion and the two of them are often depicted together.

The Furies
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The furies were a trio of women with wings and claws who served as hades enforces in the underworld. Hades would often send them to the surface to do his biding.

Sirens
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Although sirens are well known these days, the original sirens from greek myths are a little different. These sirens were often depicted as half-bird half-women, although they did have the same habit of luring in sailors just to wreck their ships.

Lernaean Hydra

The Lernaean Hydra was a nine headed, serpentine sea monster that was sent by Hera to kill the heroe Hercules. It was the offspring of Echidna and typhon.

The Nemean Lion

The Nemean Lion was a fearsom craeture in greek mythology whos skin was impervious to most weapons. When Hercules finally defeated the nemean Lion, he wore its impenitrable skin as a protective trophy.

Neutral Creatures
The Fates
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Fates were a trio of women in greek mythology who controled the very fabric of time. Often depicted sewing or weaving, it was said that they wove the stories of all mortal and imortal creatures.

Centaurs
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Centaurs, who had the upper-body of a human and the legs of a horse, were mostly described as neutural barbarians, following their instincts. The most famous centaur, Chiron, trained famous heroes such as Hercules and Achilles.

Cyclopses
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cyclopes aren't actually neutural most of the time, but there are many different types of cyclops with some being good, some bad. The elder cyclops were expert blacksmiths sincebefore the gods were born, and made the gods powerful weapons to use against the titans. Other cyclops, like Polyphemus, who gaurded the Golden Fleece, were more evil. All cyclops have only one eye in the middle of their forehead.

Harpies

Harpies, who were often depicted as half-bird half-women, are servents of Zues. They were seen by some as wind spirits, and are assosiated with storms and bad weather. Zues often sent harpies after those who angered him.

The Sphinx

The Sphinx was a lorge lion with an eagle's wings and the head of a woman. She was also sometimes depicted as having a scorpion's tail. She was sent by the goddess Hera to eat people in the greek city-state Thebes who couldn't answer the Sphinx's riddles.

Arion

Arion was rumored to be the fastest horse in greek mythology. he was famous for his beatiful black coat and his wildness that left him untamed in most myths. Arion was also rumored to eat gold.

Friendly Creatures
Nymphs

In greeek mythology nymphs were female nature spirits that could be found anywhere there was nature. The most common nymphs wer dryads (tree spirits), naiads (water spirits), and aurae (wind spirits).

Hippocampi
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The hippocampus were half-horse half-fish creatures that lived in the seas surrounding greece. Poseidon and sea nymphs would send them to rescue drowning sailors.

Satyr

Satyrs were the followers of Pan, God of the Wild, and are depiced as humans with the legs of goats. Satyrs were closely associated with nature and are often depicted with animals or playing the pan floot. Satyrs would often chase after and flirt with dryads in myths.

Pegasi

Pegasi were winged horses who were often the mounts of famous heros. Pegasi were the children of Pegasis, the first winged horse and the child of Poseidon and Medusa.

Hekatonkheire
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hekatonkheire, also known as the Hundren Handed Ones, where a trio of giant brothers, each with one hundred hands and one fifty faces. They were ancient ansestors of the cyclops and helped the gods when they first fought the titans.
